Caring for your Kipling bag

Once you have bought a Kipling bag we are sure you will want to look after it with care. Of course, handbags are meant to be used and we're not suggesting that you shouldn't enjoy your Kipling bag because you're too anxious about damaging it so we've come up with a few simple tips to help you extend the life of your bag.

Every Kipling bag can be gently cleaned but any cleaning must be by hand only-do not throw your bag into the washing machine !

Kipling leather bags, for example, Thrill, Club and Vintage leather collections are made from genuine leather which will age naturally over time making every leather Kipling bag unique. Chemical cleaning solutions should NOT be used as this may permanently damage the leather. If at all possible try to keep your bag out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources. If you find any variations on colour or shade on your bag do not worry as this is the natural ageing process of the leather.

With Kipling nylon bags such as Vintage, HIP, Basic G*rilla Girlz, IF and BASIC it is strongly advised not to soak these type of bags in water and whatever you do do NOT use bleach as this will affect the colour of the fabric. As with leather bags try to keep the bag away from direct sunlight if at all possible. If there are any slight marks to the fabric then a damp cloth should remove most marks.

The same rules apply to Kipling bags made from nylon with leather detailing.
